Honeywell Launches New Fram® Oil Filter Advertising

Honeywell’s FRAM® filter brand launched a multimedia advertising campaign called “Your Oil Protects Your Engine, But What’s Protecting Your Oil?”

“These ads encapsulate the benefits of our oil filters and re-emphasize their importance in the oil change process,” said Andy Coccari, Director of Global Marketing, Filtration, Honeywell Consumer Products Group. “Filters are not a commodity – they are a consumer product and there is an important difference between an economy filter and a premium filter.”

Full page ads will appear in a host of leading publications, including Car & Driver, Road & Track, the Family Handyman, Men’s Fitness and Vibe.

Running in conjunction with the print elements, Fram® Oil Filter radio spots that highlight FRAM filters’ new engine protection claims will run on a variety of national radio venues, including ESPN and the ABC Radio Network.

As an extension of the new campaign, the brand also developed new product packaging, retail signage, and consumer literature and point of sale materials.
