Honeywell Names Murray Grainger Chief Financial Officer, Specialty Products; Elena Doom Appointed Vice President, Investor Relations

Honeywell announced that Murray Grainger has been named Chief Financial Officer, Specialty Products, a business unit of Honeywell Specialty Materials, and Elena Doom has been appointed Vice President, Investor Relations.  Grainger and Doom will assume their new roles immediately. 

“Murray has created a solid foundation for Honeywell’s relationship with Wall Street,” said David J. Anderson, Honeywell Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.  “His strong financial acumen and background in business analysis makes him a great fit for our Specialty Products business.”

“Elena has been with Honeywell for several years, where she has gained increasing roles of responsibility,” continued Anderson.  “In addition, her background in accounting and business analysis provides her with the necessary tools to effectively communicate Honeywell’s story to the investment community. We are pleased to have her in this role.” 

Grainger has been with Honeywell since 2004, with an extensive background in mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning and investor relations. Previously, Grainger worked at ITT Corporation in Sweden, Australia, and the United States and holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Sydney and an MBA from Columbia University.

Doom joined Honeywell in 2002 and has held various business and corporate financial roles, including Treasury, Investor Relations and M&A. She previously served as the Manager for Investor Relations and most recently, Doom was Director, Corporate Development helping the company’s global M&A activities. Before coming to Honeywell, she worked as an Associate at Arthur Andersen.  Doom holds a bachelor’s degree in international business from Loyola Marymount University and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame.
