Honeywell’s Czech Republic National Executive and Head of Honeywell Prague Laboratory, Jaroslav Dolezal, received an honorary doctorate degree from the Brno University of Technology (BUT). Dolezal was recognized for his work in building research and development partnerships between engineering companies and the country’s universities.
The honorary doctorate was presented to Dolezal by Professor Karel Rais, the Rector of the Brno University of Technology, on the 110th Anniversary of the university’s foundation.
Honeywell funds undergraduate research in the Czech Republic in fields such as avionics, aerospace modeling, simulation, diagnostics and control systems. The company promotes scientific research scholarships and access to its research facilities for talented technical graduates and undergraduates.
