Honeywell Declares Quarterly Dividend

The Board of Directors of Honeywell  has declared a regular quarterly dividend of $0.3025 per share on the company’s outstanding common stock. The dividend is payable on December 10, 2009 to shareowners of record at the close of business on November 20, 2009.

Honeywell’s UOP Announces Start-Up of Para-xylene Production Unit at Sinopec Facility in Shanghai

Honeywell’s UOP announced that Sinopec Shanghai Petrochemical Co., Ltd. has successfully started up a new para-xylene complex using UOP process technology at the Sinopec facility in Shanghai.  The aromatics project was completed in just 30 months from initial kick-off through commissioning, with UOP providing the technology license, basic engineering, equipment packages, and key products.

Honeywell Employees in Calgary Revitalize Local Boys and Girls Club

Honeywell employees from Calgary, Alberta volunteered to help Penbrooke Meadows Club in Calgary, Canada, with some much needed renovation and repair work.  In one day, the team successfully installed new kitchen cabinets, countertops, medium density fiberboard in the main room, and baseboards in the basement, and improved the club’s outdoor landscaping.
