Honeywell Refrigerant Helps Convert Waste Heat to Power at Texas University
Honeywell’s non-ozone-depleting refrigerant Genetron® R-245fa is being used to convert waste heat to power at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.

Honeywell Secures Global Rights from DuPont on Replacement for Ozone-Depleting R-22 Refrigerant
Honeywell has secured global rights from DuPont allowing Honeywell to sell R-422D, a replacement for R-22 in refrigeration and air-conditioning systems. R-422D is a non-ozone-depleting hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) refrigerant that is an efficient and cost-effective retrofit solution for replacing ozone-depleting R-22 in existing systems. Honeywell will sell R-422D under the Genetron® refrigerants brand name.
